Product Care
We hope you love your NEKOKO jewelry for years to come. Each piece is crafted with care, and with proper attention, it can be worn, treasured, and passed on for generations.
How to best care for your jewelry
- Clean your jewelry gently with warm water, mild soap, and a very soft brush. Dry carefully with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Avoid exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals, perfume, lotion, hairspray, chlorine, or household cleaners, as these may affect the metal, stones, pearls, or enamel.
- Remove rings, bracelets, and delicate pieces before exercising, swimming, sleeping, cleaning, or doing any activity that may knock, scratch, or damage them.
- Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or jewelry box to prevent scratching. This is especially important for gemstones, pearls, and enamel pieces.
- Pearls and opals are more delicate natural materials and should be kept away from excessive heat, dryness, and chemicals.
- Champlevé enamel pieces should be handled with extra care. Although enamel is fired for lasting beauty, it is still a glass-like material and may chip or crack if dropped or knocked.
- Put your jewelry on last, after applying makeup, perfume, lotion, and hair products.
- For professional cleaning, resizing, or repairs, please contact us for assistance. Repairs for damage caused by wear or accident may be chargeable.
